Carpal tunnel syndrome

A condition where the nerve to the hand gets compressed.

Do these symptoms sound familiar?

  • Numbness in hand
  • Tingling or pins & needles in hand, thumb & fingers
  • Worse at night time, often have to shake your hand
  • Weak grip
  • Dropping things

These symptoms are typical of carpal tunnel syndrome. It is a condition where the median nerve to the hand gets compressed.

How I help treat your carpal tunnel syndrome?

Prior to recommending a treatment I will try, at your initial consultation , to confirm your diagnosis through an in depth review of your story, symptoms and examination of your hand and wrist.

I may perform some investigations to confirm the diagnosis, such as X-rays ultrasound scan or nerve condition studies.

Once the diagnosis is made I then explain the customised treatment plan. I take my time to answer any questions or queries you may have, allowing us then to confirm and set your treatment plan in motion.

After treatment the aim would be to get back to normally activities as soon as possible.
