How I help treat your arthritis?
Prior to recommending a treatment I will try, at your initial consultation, to confirm your diagnosis through an in depth review of your story, symptoms and examination of your hand and wrist.
I may perform some investigations to confirm the diagnosis, such as X-rays, MRI or CT scans.
Once the diagnosis is made I then explain the customised treatment plan. I take my time to answer any questions or queries you may have, allowing us to then confirm and set your treatment plan in motion. In the correct patient this could involve a new joint replacement.
After treatment the aim would be to get back to normally activities as soon as possible.
