Further studies
I achieved the British Diploma in hand surgery in 2020. This certificate, awarded by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand in partnership with the University of Manchester, recognises practical knowledge and clinical excellence.
Research
I am passionate about being involved in research and medical education. I achieved my post graduate Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Edinburgh and have authored various papers and abstracts published in peer review journals.
Between 2019 and 2022 I served as a primary investigator for
Dupuytren’s Interventions: Surgery vs Collagenase (DISC) trail, a multi-centred study on the comparison between collagenase injections and surgical interventions.
Currently I am a contributor to the Flexor Injury Rehab Splint Trial (FIRST) trial, looking at different methods of rehabilitation after zone 2 flexor tendon repair and a Delphi study into improvement in hand therapy training.
